Paid to Teacher Pay Scale (MPS/UPS dependent on experience) £168.80 - £261.78A welcoming and well-respected primary school in Lytham St. Annes is seeking a passionate and dedicated KS2 Primary Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

The Role

The successful candidate will take on full classroom responsibilities within Key Stage 2, delivering engaging and creative lessons that inspire pupils and support strong academic progress.

Responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum
Creating a positive, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
Assessing, monitoring, and tracking pupil progress
Differentiating lessons to support pupils of all abilities
Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, phase leaders, and senior leadership
Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Contributing to the wider school community and extracurricular activities where appropriate

The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for someone who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2 or relevant placement experience
Demonstrates strong curriculum knowledge and effective classroom practice
Is enthusiastic, organised, and committed to raising attainment
Has excellent behaviour management and communication skills
Can create engaging lessons that motivate and challenge pupils
Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to school lifeECTs are warmly encouraged to apply and will be fully supported through their induction period.
