Job Description
Our client, a medium-sized Planning, Engineering and Surveying consultancy based in Sheffield, is currently seeking a Land Surveyor to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis.
With an increasing workload, our client requires a talented individual to support a diverse array of consultancy projects including quarries, landfill and recycling sites, and industrial, commercial, and residential developments.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting in the execution of measured building surveys
Conducting detailed topographical surveys
Supporting projects with site surveys using Leica GPS and TPS equipment
Utilising LSS and AutoCAD software for survey processing
Collaborating with team members to produce accurate and reliable survey data
Completing on-site work efficiently, ensuring high standards of data collection
Maintaining equipment and ensuring its readiness for fieldwork
Providing support to the senior surveyors and engineers on various projects
Job Requirements:
Experience in measured building and topographical surveying
Familiarity with scanning software is preferable but not essential
Basic experience with LSS and AutoCAD software is advantageous
Good IT skills and proficiency in relevant software tools
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Outgoing and confident with strong communication skills
Possession of a full UK driving licence
Degree or equivalent qualification in Surveying is desirable but not essential
