About the Role

An established, employee-owned manufacturer and installer of high-quality stone worktops is looking for an experienced Lead Installer to join their friendly and professional team based in South Devon.

You’ll be part of a respected company with a strong reputation for craftsmanship, precision, and customer care. This role offers long-term stability, a supportive environment, and genuine opportunities to grow and share in the success of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  * 

    Lead and carry out installations of granite, quartz, and sintered stone worktops to the highest standards.

  * 

    Act as the company’s representative on site – professional, courteous, and customer-focused.

  * 

    Deliver exceptional workmanship and ensure every job meets exacting standards.

  * 

    Support and mentor junior installers or apprentices.

  * 

    Liaise with workshop and logistics teams to maintain smooth project delivery.

  * 

    Maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment in excellent condition.

  * 

    Follow all relevant health and safety procedures on site.

What You’ll Need

  * 

    Proven experience fitting stone worktops or similar precision products.

  * 

    Excellent attention to detail and pride in quality craftsmanship.

  * 

    Ability to read drawings and take accurate measurements.

  * 

    Confident communicating with customers in their homes or on site.

  * 

    Full UK driving licence (required).

  * 

    CSCS card (preferred).

  * 

    Experience leading a small team or mentoring others would be an advantage.
