Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
+ £5,000 signing bonus (after 12 months)

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Lead Pre-Commission Cleaning Engineer to join an expanding team within a reputable UK engineering services provider. This role is ideal for professionals experienced in pre-commission cleaning of HVAC systems, boilers, and pipework in commercial and industrial settings.
You will lead pre-commission cleaning activities, ensuring systems are free of debris and contaminants before final commissioning, contributing to project success and client satisfaction. This position requires adherence to health and safety regulations, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage and train junior staff.
Key Responsibilities
Perform pre-commission cleaning of HVAC systems, boilers, and pipework using appropriate chemicals, equipment, and methods in line with industry standards and project requirements
Complete cleaning projects within agreed timeframes and budgets
Ensure strict compliance with all health and safety policies, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel on site
Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members to provide daily updates and report any issues promptly
Maintain accurate records of work completed and assist in preparing project documentation
Keep up to date with best practices and emerging technologies in pre-commission cleaning
Provide training, guidance, and supervision to assistants and junior engineers as required
Candidate Requirements
Valid SSSTS and CSCS certifications
Proven experience in pre-commission cleaning of HVAC systems, boilers, and pipework
Thorough knowledge of industry regulations and standards relevant to pre-commission cleaning
Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to various sites
Physically fit to handle equipment and site work demands
