Learning Support Assistant - Secondary School - Southwark
 Full-Time | Long-Term | Immediate Start

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a committed and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Southwark. This is a full-time, long-term role available for an immediate start.

In this rewarding position, you will support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) through both in-class support and targeted small-group interventions. Working closely with teachers and the SENCO, you'll help to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs), adapt learning materials, and foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every student can thrive.

What we're looking for:

Experience working with children or young people (school-based or similar setting)

Knowledge or experience of supporting students with SEND

Strong communication skills and a calm, patient approach

A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
