Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Croydon
 Specialism: Behavioural Management
 Are you a passionate and resilient Learning Support Assistant looking to make a difference in the lives of young people? We’re currently seeking an experienced LSA to join a supportive school in the Croydon area, providing dedicated support to students with additional behavioural and emotional needs.
 Key Responsibilities:

Support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs to engage positively in learning.
Implement behaviour management strategies to promote a calm and productive learning environment.
Work 1:1 and in small groups to deliver tailored interventions.
Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and other support staff to ensure each student’s progress and wellbeing.
Foster positive relationships with pupils to encourage confidence, independence and resilience.Requirements:

Previous experience supporting students with behavioural or SEMH needs (essential).
Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills.
A calm, empathetic and proactive approach to supporting young people.
Ability to build trust and motivate students to achieve their potential.
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).Benefits:
