Learning Support Assistant – SEN Secondary School | Bury | Full-Time | September & Immediate Starts Available Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve their full potential? Teaching Personnel are currently working with a highly supportive SEN secondary school in the Bury area that is looking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team. About the School This specialist SEN secondary school supports pupils aged 11–16 with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, moderate learning difficulties, speech and language needs, communication difficulties, and SEMH needs. With small class sizes, excellent staff-to-pupil ratios, and specialist resources throughout the school, pupils receive the individual support they need to develop academically, socially, and emotionally. The Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students both inside and outside the classroom. You will work closely with teachers, SEN professionals, and pastoral teams to help pupils access learning, develop confidence, and overcome barriers to education. This role may involve a combination of classroom support, targeted interventions, and 1:1 support depending on the needs of the students.
