Job Title: Lecturer in Accountancy
Location: Rotherham
Contract Type: Temporary – Sickness Cover
Hours: Part-time (18 hours per week)
Salary: Dependent on Experience

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Lecturer in Accountancy to join our client temporarily to provide sickness cover. This is a part-time role (18 hours per week) based in Rotherham.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment across accountancy programmes at Levels 2–4. Experience in delivering to professional standards is essential, with delivery primarily aligned to ACCA.

Key Responsibilities:

  * Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons across Level 2–4 accountancy programmes.

  * Teach and assess learners in line with awarding body requirements (primarily ACCA).

  * Monitor and track learner progress, providing constructive feedback and support.

  * Prepare learners for exams and assessments, ensuring high levels of achievement.

  * Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress and achievement.

  * Contribute to the development of course materials and teaching resources.

  * Ensure compliance with college/centre policies, including safeguarding and equality.

Key Requirements:

  * Proven experience delivering accountancy programmes (Levels 2–4).

  * Knowledge and expertise in ACCA (other qualifications such as ATT will be considered).

  * Strong teaching, communication, and organisational skills.

  * A commitment to supporting learners to achieve their full potential.
