Machine Operator – Night Shift (10pm–6am, Monday to Friday)
Job Summary
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing manufacturing company based near Leiston, for a Machine Operator to join their night shift production team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded and reliable individual seeking a long-term role within a supportive and professional environment. Full training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate strong practical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Responsibilities
* Operate and monitor production machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures and production schedules
* Set and adjust machine parameters as required (training provided)
* Carry out regular product inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards
* Record accurate production and quality data
* Handle raw materials and finished goods safely and efficiently
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
* Follow all Health & Safety and Quality procedures
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
* Practical, hands-on approach with a technical or mechanical interest
* Methodical and detail-oriented working style
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills
