A highly respected manufacturing business operating within a fast-paced production environment is looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.

The Role:
You’ll play a key role in minimising downtime and keeping production running efficiently across a busy manufacturing site. Working as part of a close-knit maintenance team, you’ll be involved in fault finding, planned preventative maintenance, breakdown response and continuous improvement activities across a range of high-speed production machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Electrical and mechanical fault finding on production equipment
* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
* Breakdown response and rapid diagnosis
* Working on motors, drives, PLCs, pumps and pneumatic systems
* Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings
* Supporting machine reliability and continuous improvement initiatives
* Liaising with operators, contractors and internal departments
* Maintaining accurate maintenance records and shift handovers
* Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to a high standard
What We’re Looking For:
* Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds / HNC or equivalent)
* Experience within a high-speed manufacturing environment
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving production environment
* Proactive attitude with excellent communication skills
* Team player with a strong work ethic
Desirable Experience:
* Printing, packaging or carton manufacturing machinery
* Heidelberg or Manroland presses
* Bobst cut & crease or folder gluer equipment
