To date there has not been an automation challenge the company has walked away from. From robotics to packaging machinery this company does it all.
In this senior role, you will be required to work both in-house and on customers' sites, responsible for bringing our projects to life with electrical installation, machinery commissioning as well as post purchase servicing of machinery and breakdown support. You will also be required to install control panels, lead the onsite build of machines and automation systems, bringing it all to life and ensuring every project you touch is delivered to the highest possible standards and in a timely fashion. You will report to the Director on commissioning and services and work with an equally friendly and hardworking team of individuals, who are always willing to support one another. Your workload will be distributed as follows; local 30 %, UK wide + Ireland and North America 70%. Generous allowances and hotels include. Progression to Senior engineer roles are available which includes running larger projects and management.

Able to interpret engineering drawings (electrical a must, mechanical a plus)
Experience in automation machinery, industrial control systems / PLC programming
Experience working with pneumatic systems and valves
Full UK driving licence (with 3 penalty points or less)
UK/EU passport holder - entry to the USA via ESTA is essential
Commutable to Cheltenham
