£52,000 - £53,000 + Progression to Maintenance Supervisor
Are you a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking to step into a supervisory role with a business who will support your continued growth & development?
Are you looking for a role offering additional qualifications and cross-training on electrical engineering?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a business going through significant growth, overseeing a team of circa 20 people at their site in Fleetwood.
An ideal applicant will have a strong mechanical engineering background, previous leadership experience or the clear ability to step into leadership. Any industry experience can be considered.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Take ownership of daily operations covering Maintenance, QHSE, Production etc., overseeing a team of circa 20 people.
* Lead, develop and motivate operational and maintenance teams to meet performance targets.
* Drive continuous improvement—spotting opportunities, solving problems, and raising standards.
* Full budgetary controls over resources, operational costs and maintenance activities.
What You Will Bring
We’re looking for someone with:
* A strong background in mechanical engineering
* Experience in a manufacturing, heavy engineering, or similar environment. This includes the Armed Forces, REME and Navy.
* Proven leadership skills — or the clear ability to step into leadership.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
