Maintenance Fitter – DAYS ONLY – Every Friday Off!
Location: Easily Commutable From Stourbridge, Blackheath, Cradley Heath, Dudley, Lye, Rowley Regis
Salary: £36,000 + Paid Overtime + Excellent Benefits
Hours: Monday–Thursday, Day Shift Only | Full Time | Permanent

We are a well-established and successful engineering manufacturer operating in a robust and secure sector. Due to continued investment and long-term growth, we are now seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join our skilled day shift team.
This is a PERMANENT role, offering a rare 4 day working week (Mon–Thu) with EVERY FRIDAY OFF — ideal for those seeking a better work life balance without sacrificing earnings.

Your Role – Maintenance Fitter (Mechanical)
* As a key part of the maintenance team, your responsibilities will include:
* Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs
* Maintaining and repairing a variety of mechanical systems and production equipment
* Minimising downtime and ensuring efficient plant operations
* Working alongside other multi skilled engineers in a fast paced industrial setting
What We’re Looking For:
* Recognised mechanical engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent)
* Apprentice trained preferred
* Proven experience in industrial, heavy engineering, or manufacturing environments
* Strong hands-on mechanical maintenance skills
* Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, conveyors, and gearboxes
