Our client Our client is a global engineering firm with sites across the UK and worldwide. They are a specialist firm within the materials processing industry. The role As a Project Supervisor, you will be responsible for the planning, execution and successful delivery of engineering and maintenance projects, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, your key responsibilities will include to lead the day-to-day planning, coordination and supervision of engineering projects. Plan, schedule, and monitor project progress as well track performance and communicate with all stakeholders. Review and assess contractor RAMS, ensuring suitability and compliance; Identify and resolve project challenges. Pay/Shifts/Perks 8am-4pm with half an hour unpaid lunch break daily Salary is negotiable and will depend on experience. What is required from you? * HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent); time-served apprenticeship also considered * 3–5 years’ experience in project management or maintenance supervision, ideally in a 24/7 industrial environment * Strong core discipline (Mechanical or Electrical) with broad understanding of other engineering areas * Sound knowledge of health & safety regulations, including PTW, Lock- Out/Tag-Out, RAMS, and site permit systems * Proficient in project management tools and CMMS Ambitek is a traditional value recruiter who look for the following from all candidates who wish to apply for a permanent or temporary role: * 2 Work references * A solid work history in the relevant role you have applied for * Excellent time keeping and attendance If you have been unsuccessful with this vacancy we will always keep your details on file to try and find a role that may suit more and will be in touch as soon as the right role comes up.
