My client are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join a dynamic team at a large static office building in Reading. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing a team of maintenance engineers and ensuring the smooth operation of a large maintenance contract in Reading. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to make a significant impact and contribute to the success of my clients company.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a team of maintenance engineers on site
Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation of the contract.
Conduct regular inspections and provide technical guidance to ensure high-quality workmanship.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues in a timely manner.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimise downtime and maximise equipment reliability.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
Collaborate with the management team to develop and improve maintenance processes and procedures.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.Requirements:
Electrically qualified NVQ or City and guilds equivalent
18th edition
Proven experience in overseeing a team of maintenance engineers.
Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and maintenance practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent organisational and leadership abilities.
Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and team members.They offer a competitive salary of up to £50,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work with a highly skilled team and contribute to the growth and success of our company.
