Assist in maintaining the security and safety of market premises through regular patrols. Help with the setup and maintenance of stalls, equipment, and facilities. Handle traffic direction and keep market areas clear of litter and refuse. Provide courteous assistance to traders and customers, including reporting any incidents. Participate in meetings and training sessions to enhance service quality. Wear the provided uniform and maintain a smart appearance while on duty. Occasionally cover for the Wholesale Market Night Attendant as needed. Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience): Strong commitment to health and safety regulations. Ability to work collaboratively within a team. Excellent communication skills for engaging with traders and customers. Basic understanding of market operations and cleanliness standards. Reliability and punctuality in attendance and duties. Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience): Previous experience in a customer service role or market environment. Familiarity with health and safety practises within public spaces. A proactive approach to problem-solving and service improvement initiatives. Technologies: Familiarity with basic cleaning equipment and safety tools. Competence in reporting systems and communication tools.
