Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in London for a Marketing & Events Executive, reporting to the Marketing & Events Manager. From day one, you'll play a key role in delivering ExchangeWire's marketing strategy, supporting the promotion of our events and editorial products with creativity and precision. You'll help craft and execute campaigns that amplify our brand across digital channels, planning and delivering event and editorial marketing initiatives that engage sponsors, speakers, and audiences. Core responsibilities include managing event logistics, liaising with stakeholders, coordinating with partners, and assisting in event sales activities. The successful candidate will be integral in driving engagement and enhancing the visibility of ExchangeWire's events.

Responsibilities:
* Work closely with the marketing team to plan and deliver ExchangeWire’s global event, awards series and content activity
* Manage speaker coordination, including ticketing, biographies, and event participation logistics
* Oversee sponsor ticketing, allocation, and act as primary liaison for all sponsorship activities
* Lead event operations, including venue research, supplier negotiation, and on‑site setup
* Coordinate third‑party suppliers to ensure smooth delivery of all event requirements
* Collaborate with the content team to source and promote marketing collateral
* Execute event branding strategies to maximise client visibility and impact at venues
* Work alongside the marketing team to plan and deliver promotional activity across owned and earned media channels (social, email, and beyond)
* Create promotional assets to encourage speakers, sponsors, and attendees to amplify event reach
* Deliver all promotional activity in line with agreed marketing plans and timelines
* Provide regular updates to internal teams on client and event progress
Skills:
* Highly organised and efficient
* Excellent attention to detail, with good written communication skills
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
* Ability to work well within a small team, and take responsibility for a wide range of tasks
* Show initiative and the ability to work unsupervised
* Previous experience in working on national/global event management is ideal but not necessary
* Ideal but not a requirement - knowledge and understanding of web publishing tools (eg Wordpress), event management and creative software and tools (eg. Eventbrite/Zoho Backstage, Canva, MailChimp, Adobe Photoshop)
* Inquisitive and curiosity-driven with an interest in digital advertising, marketing technology, retail technology and business technology.
