Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to provide short-term support to the Marketing Manager. This role involves leading a small marketing team, managing campaigns, and ensuring delivery against key performance targets. The ideal candidate will combine creativity, analytical insight, and leadership to optimise marketing impact and enhance brand presence.
Note: Duties may be adjusted according to the needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Coordination
Supervise a small team of marketing professionals to ensure timely and high-quality outputs.
Support team members in daily activities, providing guidance and motivation.
Oversee campaign execution and ensure alignment with business goals.
Promote collaboration across departments for integrated marketing delivery.
Represent marketing in internal meetings and liaise with senior management.
Campaign Management
Plan and deliver marketing campaigns to support lead generation and brand growth.
Manage activity for operational initiatives such as ECO, retrofit, or local energy schemes.
Ensure campaign messaging is consistent and audience-appropriate.
Oversee creation of digital and offline promotional materials.
Support proposal development and marketing input for tenders.
Performance and Reporting
Track marketing campaign results and report on key metrics.
Develop simple dashboards to monitor ROI, conversion, and cost efficiency.
Analyse data to improve campaign strategies and targeting.
Gather feedback from internal and external stakeholders to identify improvement areas.
Support budget control and resource allocation within marketing activities.
Content and Communications
Oversee content creation for website, social media, and printed materials.
Ensure consistent tone of voice and adherence to brand guidelines.
Draft and review press releases, newsletters, and internal communications.
Support management of the website and SEO optimisation.
Coordinate social media and digital marketing activities using appropriate tools.
Team and Stakeholder Engagement
Foster collaboration between Marketing, Operations, and Business Development teams.
Provide regular performance updates to the Marketing Manager.
Encourage innovation and continuous improvement within the marketing team.
Support team development through clear objectives and constructive feedback.
Skills and Competencies
Strong understanding of marketing principles, analytics, and digital channels.
Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and analytics tools.
Organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Creative thinker with a focus on achieving measurable results.
Qualifications and Experience
* Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
* Proven background in campaign management, team coordination, and data analysis.
* Experience in sustainability, renewables, or community-based projects (desirable).
