TeacherActive is proud to be working with a large and diverse secondary school in the heart of Cardiff to recruit a dedicated Maths Teacher. This welcoming school has high expectations for teaching and learning and is committed to creating a positive and inclusive environment where all students are encouraged to achieve their full potential.

The school is looking to appoint a Maths Teacher on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Maths Teacher will be teaching Mathematics across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, with opportunities to teach GCSE and A-Level classes. The role will require excellent subject knowledge, strong classroom management and the ability to engage and motivate learners of varying abilities.

The successful Maths Teacher will have:

QTS with a Maths specialism

Experience teaching Maths up to Key Stage 4 / KS4 and ideally Key Stage 5

Strong classroom management skills

A passion for delivering engaging Maths lessons

The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching
