Mechanical Fitter | Coventry | £44,000 > £46,000 

About the Role:

Experienced Heavy Mechanical Fitter required to join a global leader in trailer servicing. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repair activities on road freight trailers, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform heavy mechanical fitting and assembly tasks on trailers and associated components.
Diagnose and repair faults on pneumatic systems.
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to minimize downtime.
Interpret and work from technical drawings and schematics accurately.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Heavy Mechanical Fitter or similar role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and pneumatic components.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Relevant trade qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
