Job Description

Job Title: Membership Coordinator Location: Flackwell Heath Golf Club *    Job Type: Part Time *    Hours: 10-15 per week, Monday-Friday with occasional weekends *    Pay: Up to £14 an hour, depending on experience Job Summary: Flackwell Heath Golf Club is seeking a motivated, organised, and outgoing Membership Coordinator to manage and support all aspects of member services and recruitment. The Membership Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for current and prospective members, ensuring an exceptional experience from enquiry, and continuing throughout their membership journey to aid retention. You will report to the General Manager. Key Responsibilities: *    Member Experience & Support: *    Serve as the main contact for membership enquiries, applications, and general support. *    Respond promptly to phone, email, and in-person inquiries. *    Maintain positive relationships with members through consistent communication and personalised service. *    Assist with resolving member issues or concerns in a professional and timely manner. *    Membership Sales & Recruitment: *    Promote club membership through online marketing, open days and follow-ups with prospective members. *    Maintain and update an accurate and up to date membership leads database. *    Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement membership promotions and campaigns. *    Coordinate and attend club open days and recruitment events. *    Administration & Database Management: *    Process new memberships and manage onboarding procedures including welcome packs, billing setup, and ongoing membership journey. *    Maintain and update member records, ensuring accuracy of contact information, billing, locker and trolley storage lists and membership status. *    Send and process monthly and annual membership renewals.  *    Track and report membership trends, retention, and attrition. *    Event Support: *    Assist our Food and Beverage team with planning and execution of member events, social functions, and tournaments. *    Coordinate RSVPs and member event communications as needed. *    Cross-Department Collaboration: *    Work closely with golf operations, food & beverage, accounting, and other departments to ensure seamless member experience. Qualifications: *    Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, membership coordination, or sales preferred (Golf/club industry a plus). *    Previous experience in events and marketing advantageous but not essential.  *    Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. *    Excellent organisational and time-management abilities. *    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Canva, and club management software such as Intelligent Golf preferred but not essential. *    Able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a members club setting.
