A well-regarded specialist school in Reading is searching for a Mental Health Assistant to join their growing pastoral and therapeutic team. This role is perfect for individuals looking to build a career in psychology, counselling, social care, youth work, or mental health services.
As a Mental Health Assistant, you will work closely with students who present with Autism, ADHD, anxiety, trauma-related needs, or SEMH difficulties. Supporting mental health plans, promoting emotional wellbeing, and helping pupils regulate their behaviour will be core parts of your day-to-day responsibilities.
