DK Recruitment are working with a world-renowned, precision Engineering business based in Plymouth who are expanding their Engineering team. The business has a strong culture of innovation, professional growth and are offering an exciting career journey.
We are looking for a Metrology Graduate to join our client’s expert team to be a part of a structured development programme.
We are looking for an ambitious, technically minded person to develop their skills in metrology and measurement science within a precision engineering business.
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering, or Quality Engineering, Mathematics or Physics.
We are particularly interested in individuals who demonstrate:
* Analytical thinker with a passion for precision, can think in 3 dimensions.
* Curious mind, proactive attitude, and love of learning new tech.
* Innovative problem-solver who thrive on tackling challenges and bringing new products to life
As part of a structured graduate programme, you will gain hands on experience and ongoing training in the following:
* Programming and operating advanced measurement systems, including Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and other metrology tools
* Interpreting and analysing complex engineering data
* Supporting continuous improvement and quality assurance across production processes
* Working within cross-functional engineering teams to develop and validate precision components
