Job Description
At least 4 years of midwifery experience from the UK, Ireland, New Zealand, the US, Singapore, South Africa, Canada, Saudi, UAE, Qatar, Oman or Kuwait
• Must have Midwifery registration with Ahpra (or qualify to register with Ahpra)
• Need recent experience in birth suite, postnatal and antenatal care
• Current and up to date midwifery skills and knowledge
• Evidence of training in FSEP (Fetal Surveillance Education Program), PROMPT (Practical Obstetic Multi-Professional Training), PPH (Postpartum Hemorrhage) and Neo-Resus
Pay
Based on total years of midwifery experience: From AUD $80,000 to $96,400 per annum (based on a 38-hour work week at the ordinary pay rate)
Relocation assistance or any incentives and benefits offered
• 1 week of accommodation assistance in a self-serviced apartment
• Flexible work arrangements (4-day week options). 8-12 hours shift
• $3/day parking & public transport discounts
• Ongoing education & career development – specialty training, leadership pathways, and a strong support system
• Facility will cover SID visa application fee for the midwife
Full time employment benefits
• Min 5 weeks paid annual leave/annum (shift worker)
• 10 days paid sick leave/annum
• Shift allowances + overtime
