Mobile Electrical Engineer
Salary: £44,000 – £45,000
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm
Location: North West London/ Slough/ Watford
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Mobile Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. In this field-based role, you’ll be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a range of sites, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working independently, travelling between sites, and taking ownership of their workload.
What We Offer
* £44,000–£45,000 annual salary
* Company van
* Auto-enrolment pension scheme
* Overtime paid at time and a half (after 42.5 contracted hours per week)
* Travel time paid after the first 30 minutes AM and PM (paid at basic hourly rate)
* Standby allowance: £120 per week (rota TBC)
* Call-outs paid at 1.33x hourly rate (door-to-door)
* Holiday entitlement: 31 days plus 3 public holidays (Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day)
* Life assurance: 2x salary
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Electrical Engineer (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
* 18th Edition preferred
* Experience in mobile or field-based roles
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
* Full UK driving licence
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards
* Complete job sheets and documentation accurately
* Provide excellent customer service at all times
