Job Description

Mobile Hydraulic Hose Technician / Hydraulic Fitter / Hydraulic Engineer - North East OTE £30,000 - £40,000 + Van + Overtime + On-Call Bonus

Are you mechanically minded, hands-on, and ready to be out on the road solving real-world problems? Various well-established national hydraulic service networks are looking for Mobile Hydraulic Hose Technicians, Hydraulic Fitters, Field Service Engineers, or Hydraulic Engineers to join their North East teams.

In this role, you'll provide a professional on-site hose replacement service to a wide range of customers, ensuring minimal operational downtime. You'll be part of a 24-hour on-call rota, including weekends and bank holidays, and you'll actively promote products and services across your territory.

What You'll Be Doing

Delivering on-site hydraulic hose replacements and repairs
Managing your Mobile Sales and Service Unit (MSSU), including: Maintaining stock levels, Performing routine maintenance checks, Keeping the van clean and organised & Managing technical and procedural documentation
Communicating technical information clearly to customer engineering teams
Completing mandatory training and induction programs with ongoing assessments
Maintaining high health & safety standards, including use of PPE

Who We're Looking For

Basic mechanical knowledge and good manual dexterity
Ability to work unsupervised and manage your own time
Strong communication skills - written, oral, and technical
Professional, courteous, and customer-focused
Full UK driving licence (online licence check required)
