Role Overview

Based at our Glasgow site, delivering hydraulic, industrial, and composite hose assembly services at client locations across the Central Belt.

Work from a fully equipped mobile unit, ensuring customer requirements are met in line with HSEQ standards.

Key Responsibilities

  * Respond efficiently to client call-outs and complete tasks per instructions.

  * Assemble and test hoses for hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial applications.

  * Maintain mobile unit stock levels and complete documentation accurately.

  * Participate in on-call rota and work additional hours when required.

  * Promote cost efficiency and uphold company image.

  * Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2008, HSEQ procedures, and customer site rules.

  * Maintain clean, hazard-free work areas and equipment.

  * Conduct weekly safety inspections and report defects promptly.

  * Build strong customer relationships to maximise service capability.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  * Valid UK Driving Licence

  * Practical experience with hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems

  * Strong communication and organisational skills

  * Ability to work independently and within a team

  * Flexible, adaptable, and problem-solving mindset

  * Customer and quality focus

  * Good numeric skills

  * High HSE awareness and ability to maintain equipment standards

Desirable Skills & Qualifications

  * Standard Grade / National 5 (or equivalent) in a technical subject

  * BFPA Level 2 qualification (or equivalent)

  * Forklift certificate

  * Experience with hydraulic systems in a mobile capacity

  * Hose inspection and pressure testing experience

  * Plant fitting experience
