Our client, a reputable and expanding fleet maintenance company, is seeking an experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician to join their team in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking for a dynamic and autonomous role specialising in roadside assistance, fleet servicing, and DPF system work. The position offers a competitive salary package and the chance to work with a professional team dedicated to quality service and career development.

Benefits:

Up to £40,000 basic salary with an OTE of £45,000
5-day working week, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
1 in 2 Saturdays off, with a day in lieu during the week

Clear opportunities for career progression within a nationwide, growing companyDuties of a Mobile Vehicle Technician:

Conduct mobile servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on a variety of vehicle makes and models in line with manufacturer standards
Perform DPF cleaning, inspection, and repair, primarily with the system remaining on the vehicle
Support roadside and breakdown assistance as part of the mobile team
Communicate effectively with clients, providing excellent customer service at all times
Maintain accurate documentation of work carried out and parts used
Ensure a safe and clean working environment in accordance with company policies
Mobile Vehicle Technicians support fleet maintenance schedules and deliver timely, quality serviceRequirements of a Mobile Vehicle Technician:

Level 2 (minimum) or Level 3 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification
Proven experience in mobile, dealership, or breakdown vehicle repair environments
Strong diagnostic skills with experience servicing multiple vehicle brands
Familiarity with DPF systems, cleaning procedures, and repairs
A full UK driving licence with a clean record
Reliable, well-organised, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
Excellent communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach
