About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join their Building Repairs & Maintenance team. The successful candidate will carry out a range of building and adaptation works, delivering high-quality repair, maintenance, and installation services across various properties.

This job will be based around Surrey.

Key Responsibilities

  * 

    Carry out a variety of trade tasks including:

      * 

        Painting and decorating

      * 

        Carpentry (e.g. hanging doors, fitting kitchen units)

      * 

        Flooring repairs and renewals

      * 

        Basic plumbing (e.g. condense runs, soakaway installations)

      * 

        Patch plastering and wall tiling

      * 

        Fitting bath panels, pipe ducting, and casings

  * 

    Work both independently and as part of a skilled maintenance team.

  * 

    Accurately measure materials and estimate time required for projects.

  * 

    Complete all job-related documentation accurately and on time.

  * 

    Ensure health & safety standards are upheld at all times.

What We’re Looking For

  * 

    City & Guilds qualification or time-served tradesperson (essential).

  * 

    Minimum 2 years’ experience in repairs, maintenance, or construction (essential).

  * 

    Experience working directly with residents or in customer-facing roles.

  * 

    Strong understanding of health & safety regulations.

  * 

    Ability to work independently and use initiative.

  * 

    Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  * 

    Commitment to equality, diversity, and high-quality service.

  * 

    Full, clean UK driving licence (essential).

Desirable Training & Certifications

  * 

    Asbestos Awareness Certificate

  * 

    Training in Working at Height, Manual Handling, or First Aid
