Job Description
Mobile Multi Trade Operative - Carpentry Focus (Social Housing Maintenance, North East London)
Start Date: ASAP
Location: North East London (Hackney, Walthamstow & surrounding areas)
Pay Rate: Competitive salary + Company van + Fuel card + Uniform
We are currently recruiting 4 Mobile Multi Trade Operatives with a strong carpentry bias for long-term social housing maintenance contracts in North East London, with potential for permanent roles.
Ideal applicants will have experience as:
✔️ Carpentry Operative
✔️ Multi Skilled Operative with Carpentry focus
✔️ Property Maintenance Technician
✔️ Social Housing Repairs Operative
What We Offer:
Long-term contracts with temp to perm potential
Company van, fuel card, and uniform provided
Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (30-minute break)
Work within occupied and void social housing properties
Key Responsibilities:
Carpentry-focused repairs (windows, doors, kitchens, fencing, general woodwork)
Tiling (walls and floors)
Light plumbing tasks
General maintenance (plaster patching, mould treatment)
Use PDA for job tracking and documentation
Provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
Strong carpentry experience with multi-trade skills
Experience in social housing maintenance preferred
Full UK Driving Licence & clean DBS
Strong communication skills
