The Opportunity

Ford & Stanley Talentwise are looking for a Maintenance Technician to work at a top UK tourist attraction in the centre of London. 

Hosting some of the UK’s most popular visitor attractions, the facility requires a skilled team member to ensure the smooth running of the operation to deliver planned preventative maintenance and fault finding. You will be aware of all issues relating to the facility, rides and tourist attractions, inclusive of mechanical, electrical and control systems, carrying out any required reactive repairs in a timely manner to ensure minimal downtime of the attraction. 

This is an exciting Full Time, permanent position which includes carrying out daily checks and start-up/close procedures. 

For the right candidate, this role is varied with no day being the same!

Location: 

 London

Salary: £46,170.00

Shifts: 

Mon to Sun 5 days per week 
Earlies: 7am-3pm 
Lates:2pm-10pm 
Weekends: 8am-8pm
(You must be able to work all shifts) 

Role and Responsibilities

Technicians are required to complete fault finding and planned preventative maintenance, to ensure the facility can operate and ensure guests can enjoy their day out.

Follow electrical schematics to ensure components are installed correctly.
Ensure planned preventative maintenance is completed in accordance with timescales.
Complete fault finding to ensure components are running correctly and safely.
The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have vast knowledge work with hydraulic systems with experience of fault finding within a FMCG background, Marine, Rail, Aviation or an Ex-Forces background.

Essential

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) minimum qualification 
Fault finding and root cause analysis experience
Able to interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematic diagrams
Use of diagnostic software
Use of test and measuring equipment
