About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teacher to join our team on a short-term basis for the next two weeks. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to deliver engaging and inspiring music lessons across [primary/secondary] year groups.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality music education, maintaining a positive and creative learning environment, and ensuring continuity of learning during the absence of our regular teacher.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging music lessons aligned with the national curriculum or school scheme of work
Teach practical and theoretical aspects of music, including singing, instruments, rhythm, notation, and music appreciation
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policy
Prepare and set up instruments and materials as required
Provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all students
Communicate effectively with colleagues and school leadership
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience in music education
Experience teaching music in a primary or secondary school setting
Strong classroom management skills
Ability to engage and inspire students through music
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
