Band 6 Mental Health Recovery Nurse
Location: Bath
Pay Rate: £26.28 per hour
Contract: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm (shorter working week may be available)

This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Mental Health Nurse seeking a locum or contract role with flexible working options.
Job Summary:
As a Community Mental Health Recovery Nurse, you will provide high-quality care, treatment, and recovery-focused support for people referred by services such as the Primary Care Liaison Service (PCLS), BANES Intensive Service, or the Mental Health Liaison Service at Bath Royal United Hospital. You will play a key role in supporting service users to achieve positive outcomes, reduce hospital admissions, and promote independence.
Key Responsibilities of the Mental Health Recovery Nurse:
Deliver comprehensive mental health assessments and evidence-based interventions.
Develop and review personalised care and recovery plans.
Work in partnership with NHS multidisciplinary teams, social care, and voluntary organisations.
Provide risk assessments, crisis intervention, and relapse prevention strategies.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with NMC and NHS standards.
Requirements of the Mental Health Recovery Nurse:
Current NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
Previous experience in a Band 6, community, recovery, or crisis mental health role.
Strong communication, assessment, and risk management skills.
Ability to work both independently and within a team.
