A long-established, family-run nursery in Nantwich, Cheshire is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and motivated Nursery Practitioner to join their supportive team. With over 25 years of exceptional early years care, this setting is known for its warm, homely environment, commitment to children’s development and genuine passion for giving every child the best possible start.

About the Setting
35 children on roll
Daily attendance of 18–25 children, quieter during school holidays
3 well-resourced rooms:
Baby Room (0–18 months) – max 6 children, 2 staff
Toddler Room (18–30 months) – max 9 children
Preschool Room (30–60 months) – max 16 children
Team of 9, including part-time staff
Outdoor learning is part of daily practice
Strong emphasis on creativity, active play and child development
This nursery is led by an owner with decades of Early Years experience, including a BA (Hons) in Early Years Education and EYPS, who opened the setting after recognising the need for high-quality, inclusive childcare in the local community.

The Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:
* Support children across baby, toddler or preschool rooms
* Plan and deliver stimulating, age-appropriate activities
* Encourage independence and confidence in children
* Take part in creative, outdoor and active play
* Work closely with a supportive team
* Build positive relationships with parents
* Contribute to observations, developmental discussions and planning
* Help maintain a safe, nurturing learning environment
This role suits someone who is energetic, child-centred and confident using initiative.
Training, CPD & Progression
All staff receive:

Paediatric First Aid
Basic Food Hygiene
Safeguarding
