About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated finance professional with strong Hospitality Financial Management experience to join our team. You will play a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and driving profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Assist in developing annual business plans, budgets, forecasts, and P&L statements.
Implement and maintain robust financial controls to manage business risks.
Support strategic decision-making through detailed financial analysis and reporting.
Collaborate with department managers to optimise resource allocation and cost control.
Manage purchasing and inventory processes, including vendor negotiations and contract management.
Essential Skills & Competencies
Numeracy: Strong mathematical skills for problem-solving, calculations, and data presentation.
Computer Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Opera, PeopleSoft, and Micros preferred.
Reading & Writing: Ability to comprehend complex documents and communicate effectively in writing.
Economics & Accounting: In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, operating budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Analytical Thinking: Skilled in analysing complex data, identifying trends, and developing solutions.
Administration & Management: Understanding of strategic planning, resource allocation, and team coordination.
Purchasing & Materials Management: Knowledge of procurement processes and inventory control.
