What You'll Do:
As the Service Manager, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality 'front of house' services, including:
Management of Operational Services: Ensure smooth property and building maintenance, catering, housekeeping, and customer services.
Health and Safety Compliance: Provide proactive support to the Senior Management Team on all health and safety matters.
Team Leadership: Foster a culture of trust and open communication while managing and developing your team.
Contract Management: Negotiate and review contracts to ensure value for money and quality service delivery.
Building Maintenance Oversight: Ensure our facilities are maintained to the highest standards, providing a safe and welcoming environment for our residents.
What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate will possess:
A recognised qualification such as IOSH or a BSc/BA in Safety Management.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
Extensive experience in operational services within a care environment.
Proven ability to manage change and draught health and safety policies.
Strong skills in customer relationship management and negotiating contracts.
A keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills.
The ability to create effective working relationships with various stakeholders.
