Spray Painter – Leeds (Days, 9-Day Fortnight)

A long-established, Manufacturering business in Leeds is looking for an experienced Spray Painter to join its operations team. The Role

Working as part of a close-knit production team, the Spray Painter will be responsible for ensuring all metal products are prepared and finished to the highest standards. From masking and sealing to final coating, every stage of the process plays a vital role in ensuring exceptional product quality and customer satisfaction.

This is a hands-on role that would suit someone who takes real pride in their work, enjoys a clean, well-organised workshop environment, and wants to contribute to a company that’s constantly investing in people, technology, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  * 

    Prepare, mask, seal, and spray metal components within the paint spray booth using appropriate PPE

  * 

    Ensure all products are finished to the correct specification and quality standards

  * 

    Manage workload effectively to meet production schedules

  * 

    Support continuous improvement and collaborate with other production teams

  * 

    Maintain a safe, tidy, and efficient work area

  * 

    Complete documentation accurately and on time

Skills & Experience

  * 

    Previous experience prepping, spraying, or painting metal products in a manufacturing or engineering environment (essential)

  * 

    Experience using pressure pot and compressor systems (advantageous)

  * 

    FLT and overhead crane licences would be beneficial

  * 

    A proactive, team-focused approach and pride in delivering high-quality work

  * 

    Flexibility to support occasional overtime during peak demand
