Our client, one of the UK's largest comprehensive automotive accident repairers, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Panel Beater to join their busy centre in Newport. 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with highly flexible start and finish timesDuties of the Vehicle Panel Beater:
Undertake replacement and repair of damaged or compromised bodywork panels
Conduct chassis and framework repairs accurately
Assess vehicle damage meticulously to determine the appropriate repair procedures
Carry out bumper and door repairs as required
Ensure all repair work adheres to internal standards and third-party quality benchmarks
Work collaboratively with team members to maintain safe, efficient centre operationsRequirements:
Proven experience working as a Vehicle Panel Beater
Formal qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Body Repair or equivalent are desirable but not essential
Strong on-the-job experience demonstrating high-quality repair standards
Excellent attention to detail
Good communication and teamworking skills
Ability to multitask effectively
Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
ATA accreditation or experience working to BSI 10125 Kitemark Standards is advantageous but not compulsory
