This is an excellent opportunity for both ECTs and experienced teachers seeking a rewarding role within a welcoming and supportive school community. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 2 class and will benefit from dedicated ECT support and mentoring, alongside additional PPA release time.
The Role
Year 2 Class Teacher
Part-time position (2 days per week)
Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Work collaboratively with experienced staff and school leaders
Assess, monitor and support pupil progress
The Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Passionate about teaching and learning in Key Stage 1
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Committed to achieving the best outcomes for all pupils
Open to both ECTs and experienced practitioners
