Job Description
Prospero Teaching is currently seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join a warm, welcoming SEN school in Lyndhurst, Hampshire on a part-time basis-just Tuesdays and Fridays.
The school provides tailored education for pupils aged 5-19 years on the Autism Spectrum, and has been described as a truly lovely environment to work in.
Part-Time SEN Teaching Assistant - Tuesdays and Fridays Only Location: Lyndhurst, Hampshire Minimum Hourly Rate: £13.96/hour | Term-Time Only (39 Weeks)
Key Details:
Working Days: Tuesdays (08:30-16:30) & Fridays (08:30-15:00)
Accessible via public transport
Full days only; flexible options considered
Responsibilities:
Supporting students during lessons and throughout the school day
Assisting with both group and individual learning programmes
Collaborating with teachers to meet educational goals
May involve 1:1 support or classroom-based assistance
Requirements:
Maths & English GCSE (Grade C / Level 4 or above)
Experience working with pupils with SEN and challenging behaviour (preferred)
Empathetic, fun, patient and collaborative nature
Eligibility:
Right to work in the UK
Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate (or willing to apply)
Two childcare or education-related references
