Performing Arts Technician Fantastic opportunity to work in a top London school Performing Arts Technician to support the Head of Drama ASAP start Central London Part time position Have a Drama or theatre background Interviews ASAPJOB DESCRIPTION Performing Arts Technician required for an outstanding school, the school are looking for a Performing Arts Technician to support the Head of Department with stage managing the School Play, and overseeing the technical elements of the production, as well as providing technical support for GCSE examined performances. The school wants to look over Performing Arts Technician CVs ASAP and meet Performing Arts Technician's over the next couple of weeks School Information This is an outstanding all-girls school based in the heart of London. The school has an academic history of excellence in addition to state of the art facilities. This over-subscribed school has four applicants for ever space available and boasts a brilliant reputation within the local community. Key responsibilities for Performing Arts Technician Providing technical support to both staff and students, including: Making recordings of the practical exams, transferring digital media from one format to another Operating light and sound equipment during practical exams and the school play. Stage managing the annual school play, coordinating and managing all technical elements, and managing groups of students assigned to each technical elementTraining will be provided where necessary REQUIREMENTS The school are looking for someone with a Drama or Theatre background. Who has the ability to communicate effectively and positively with students, teachers, suppliers, and members of the public You must also enjoy working with young people and has an appetite for learning new skills, with a positive, can-do attitude.
