Senior Piping Designer – Rotterdam (Contract)
Location: Rotterdam

A leading global engineering company is looking for an experienced Senior Piping Designer to join its Rotterdam office. You’ll be part of a team delivering complex offshore energy projects, with a strong focus on high-quality, safe, and sustainable design solutions.
The Role As a Senior Piping Designer, you will:
Produce high-quality piping designs in line with international codes and industry standards
Use advanced design tools (preference for Aveva experience) to develop accurate, clear deliverables
Work closely with Engineers and other Designers to resolve design issues and maintain design intent
Plan and deliver your own work scope to agreed deadlines
Coordinate with package engineers and review vendor documentation
Lead small design scopes and mentor junior designers where required
Support projects from concept through to detailed designWhat We’re Looking For
5–10 years’ experience in the oil & gas, offshore, or maritime sector
Strong background in FPSO design is highly preferred
Proficiency with Aveva E3D / PDMS essential
Solid understanding of piping layout, modelling, and engineering interfaces
Ability to work independently and collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams
Strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills
Degree or diploma in Engineering, Design, or similar fieldWhy Apply?
