This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a busy site, lead a dedicated team, and drive productivity in a business that’s making a real environmental impact.
The Role
As Plant Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring production targets are met, and maintaining a safe, efficient, and motivated working environment. The role is split 60% shop floor, 40% office-based, giving you the chance to lead from the front while managing planning, reporting, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team across production and recycling operations
Monitor and improve productivity, quality, and safety standards
Manage workflow, shift planning, and resource allocation
Support continuous improvement initiatives and staff training
Liaise with senior management on performance and operational updates
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in a supervisory or plant management role (manufacturing, recycling, or similar)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Hands-on approach with the ability to motivate and develop teams
Organised, proactive, and confident in managing both people and processes
Comfortable working in a physical, fast-paced environment
What’s on Offer
