Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a well-known Fabrication & Welding company, in their search for a Plater/Welder to work in their workshop based in Wem.
For the successful Plater/Welder, our client is offering
£14.44 Per Hour - Reviewed after 3 months
Opportunity for overtime
The basic factory opening hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30-4:30, with a 12:30 finish on Fridays.
29 days holiday (including bank holidays)

The Role - Plater/Welder:
Be able to read, interpret and work with engineering drawings with minimal supervision
Be comfortable working on one-off pieces and other small batch work
Be able to use measuring equipment
Perform work in accordance with the company’s health and safety procedures
Be highly motivated
Work effectively, ensuring the workplace is kept in a clean and orderly manner
What our client is looking for in a Plater/Welder:
Experience in Welding and fabrication – Essential
Experience of working from engineering drawings – Essential
Key Skills or Similar Job Titles as the Plater/Welder:
Welder, Fabricator, Plater, MIG, Stick
The Plater/Welder position is Commutable from:
Shrewsbury, Wem, Oswestry, Welshpool, Market Drayton, Prees, Whitchurch, Telford, Wrexham, Shropshire, North Wales, Cheshire.
