Platform Engineer – Hybrid - Preston
AWS, Cloud, Linux, Kubernetes, Software Development, Terraform, Ansible, Git

This exciting and established client is looking to add a Platform Engineer to their development team based in Preston. The successful Platform Engineer will have proven experience in a similar role and your skills will include strong Linux and Cloud experience. You should have experience providing management of shared infrastructure and contributing to the design of multi-tenancy systems.

Core skills required:

Excellent working knowledge of Linux systems
Excellent experience working with cloud providers
Experience of container orchestration (Kubernetes)
Solid understanding of software development
Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
Understanding of version control using Git
Managing several projects and prioritising demands
Self-managing workload and continually meeting agreed deadlines
