About the Company:
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing property maintenance company based in Essex. Our client provides essential maintenance and repair services across a large portfolio of local authority and social housing properties. With a strong focus on quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction, they are now looking to expand their team by hiring a dedicated and skilled Plumber.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hard-working plumber to join a supportive and growing team. You will be responsible for carrying out a range of plumbing repairs and maintenance tasks across residential properties, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, in line with health and safety regulations, and with minimal disruption to tenants.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct reactive and planned plumbing maintenance across local authority/social housing properties
*
Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs in a timely and efficient manner
*
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including taps, toilets, showers, pipework, and drainage
*
Provide excellent customer service and ensure tenants are treated respectfully at all times
*
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company procedures
*
Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a plumber, ideally within social housing or domestic maintenance
*
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing or equivalent qualification
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Strong problem-solving skills and a professional, can-do attitude
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*
Excellent communication and customer service skills
