Job Description
I am recruiting on behalf of my client for an experienced Pre Preg Laminator to join a specialist composites manufacturing team.
My client operates within a high-quality manufacturing environment producing precision composite components for a range of industries. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Pre Preg Laminator looking to join a professional and well-established business with ongoing work and long-term opportunities.
The successful Pre Preg Laminator will be responsible for working with composite materials and pre-preg processes to manufacture high-quality components to exact specifications. The role would suit a detail-focused Pre Preg Laminator with experience working within a fast-paced production environment and a strong understanding of quality standards.
As a Pre Preg Laminator, your responsibilities will include:
Laminating composite components using pre-preg materials
Reading and working from technical drawings and lay-up schedules
Preparing moulds, tooling and materials for production
Vacuum bagging and preparing components for curing
Trimming and finishing completed parts to specification
Conducting quality checks throughout the laminating process
Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
Following all health and safety proceduresTo be considered for this Pre Preg Laminator position, you should have:
Previous experience working as a Pre Preg Laminator
Knowledge of composite manufacturing processes
Experience with vacuum bagging and curing processes
Good attention to detail and quality standards
Ability to work independently and within a team
Strong work ethic and reliable attitude
