Job Description
A global FMCG manufacturer are seeking a Press Setter to join their team in Slough, With a global reputation for innovation and quality, this role offers the chance to be part of a forward-thinking organisation that values safety, excellence, and professional development. Shift Pattern-Monday to Friday (3 rotating shift - 06.00 – 14.00, 14.00 – 22.00, 22.00 – 06.00)
What You Will Do:
- Work in a safe manner at all times, ensuring the safety of yourself and your colleagues.
- Set individual tooling correctly and to the required specification on the presses.
- Exchange press tooling as per system instructions and ensure all safety checks are completed.
- Confirm good-quality first-off specifications are achieved prior to handing over to the operator.
- Maintain product quality throughout the production run and ensure work times are recorded accurately.
- Assist within the department as needed, which may include acting as an operator or packer when required by the supervisor.
What You Will Bring:
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.
- Experience with manual press operations and tooling knowledge
- Basic computer skills to support production tracking.
- Organisational skills and a tidy work ethic.
- Knowledge of legal requirements for press setting is essential.
