Year 1 Teacher - Tottenham - Maternity Cover - Start Date 18th - Full Time

We are currently recruiting for a passionate and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Tottenham to cover a maternity leave starting on the 18th.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school with a strong leadership team and a positive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to thrive both academically and socially.

The school is looking for a committed teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, maintain strong classroom behaviour, and support pupils throughout this important stage of their development.

The Role:

Full classroom teaching responsibilities within a Year 1 class
Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
Assessing pupil progress and supporting attainment
Creating a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
Working closely with support staff, parents, and senior leadershipThe Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
Have previous KS1 or Year 1 teaching experience
Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Be engaging, organised, and reliable
Have a passion for primary education and pupil developmentThe Role Offers:
