Primary Teacher

Location: Thanet, Kent

Salary: £120 - £250 per day (depending on experience)

Start date: ASAP

Contract: Full-time, Long-term

If so, then we at GSL Education Kent would love to hear from you! We are currently recruiting for several Primary Teachers to join a vibrant and welcoming school community in Thanet. We have opportunities available for both a KS1 Teacher and a KS2 Teacher to join a setting that values creativity, inclusivity, and high standards of achievement. The selected Primary Teachers will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to their respective year groups, helping every pupil reach their full potential in a stimulating environment.

As a Primary Teacher, you will be expected to:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across either the KS1 or KS2 curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes high standards of behaviour.
Assess, record, and report on pupil progress, using data to inform future planning.
Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
Contribute to the wider life of the school, aligning with the school’s values and pastoral initiatives.
To be considered for these Primary Teacher roles, candidates must:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Have experience teaching in a UK primary school.
Possess a strong understanding of the primary curriculum and assessment frameworks.
Have the right to work in the UK.
Meet GSL's safer recruitment background checks.
Have a Child Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
